Culmore Football Club

Culmore Football Club established in 1963 is currently providing football for 200 young people aged 6 – senior level. The club has, at present 20 qualified coaches and volunteers who help to run the teams. All adults are vetted by WELB to work with children.  The Club is lobbying with the Forum for an all weather pitch in Culmore and training facilities.

Coaching takes place every Saturday at 1pm-3pm at the Duncreggan University pitch, juniors between 2-m-3pm and juveniles from 1pm-3pm

Other Activities

Every June Culmore Football Club run a Fun Day at Shrove Beach in Donegal – this year we had over 90 children and young people in attendance enjoying sports, fun and barbecue.

In July we run a Soccer Fun Week – this year nearly 80 children fine-tuned their skills supported by volunteer coaches and parents.

During the winter months we provide 3 hours of football for club members in all age groups on a fee paying basis at Thornhill College 6pm-9pm supervised by volunteers. 

Highlights

The under 14 team reached the NI Cup Semi Final displaying great skills and team spirit.

The under 10 team reached the 3rd round of the NI Cup – again another strong display by a fine team.

The committee and coaches of the Culmore Youth & Football Club wish to thank all the volunteers and supportive parents who make the work of the club possible and to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to contribute to the club to contact a club member.
