We commissioned the North West Volunteer Centre, with funding raised locally through the Christmas Raffle 2007, to provide child protection training and Access checks for two cohorts of Culmore local adult volunteers (15) in late 2008 and early 2009. The Presentation of Certificates to the first cohort was held on 14 January 2009 in the Magnet and we are currently awaiting a date for the Presentation of Certificates to the second cohort. Our Target is 50 volunteers so an additional 25 volunteers are needed to establish a local bank/register of volunteers in order to ensure sufficient numbers are available at events. PLEASE SIGN UP TO 3 Hrs MAX PER MONTH! OUR COMMUNITY - OUR YOUTH AND VULNERABLE ADULTS!
